Some patterns don't start with you.

Family Constellations is a way of looking at the patterns, roles, and unspoken loyalties that get passed down — and finding out what's actually yours to carry.

Book a 1:1 session

A different way of looking at "why do I keep doing this?"

It's not about blaming your family or reliving the past. It's about looking at what's happening in your life with fresh eyes — a pattern, a role, or a feeling that may have deeper roots than you realize.

Repeating the same relationship pattern
Feeling responsible for things that aren't yours
Finding yourself stuck in a family role
Carrying a heaviness you can't quite explain

This can show up in a lot of places

Relationships

Repeating patterns, difficulty trusting or letting people in, boundaries, conflict, feeling unseen or unchosen.

Family & belonging

Parent-child dynamics, sibling relationships, family roles, separation or estrangement, questions around belonging.

Personal patterns

Self-worth, guilt, shame, anger, difficulty choosing yourself, feeling stuck in an identity or role.

Repeating patterns

"Why does this keep happening to me?" — patterns that persist despite your conscious efforts to change them.

What actually happens, step by step

1

You bring a situation, relationship, pattern, or question you'd like to understand.

2

Together, we look beneath the surface at the dynamics, beliefs, and loyalties that may be influencing it.

3

We create a constellation — depending on the format, people or objects may represent the system.

4

We let what's hidden become visible, often offering a different perspective.

5

We explore a freer way forward — not a forced outcome.

We don't start from "what's wrong with me?"

Instead, we ask —

What happened?
What am I carrying?
Where did this begin?
What am I protecting?
Where do I belong?
What would moving forward look like?

1:1 session

1 hour · just you and Maisha

The full hour focused only on your situation, with room to go into specifics you'd rather not share in a group.

This might be for you if —

You keep noticing the same pattern in different relationships
You feel loyal to something you can't quite name
Something about your family history feels unfinished
You're not looking for advice — you want to understand something

You are allowed to create a different pattern.

You don't have to understand everything before you begin. You can start with one question, one relationship, or one pattern you're ready to look at.

Questions

Do I need to know a lot about my family history to do this?

No. You don't need detailed information, dates, or a complete family tree. Sometimes a session can begin with just what you already know or notice in your own life.

Will I have to share personal details in front of the group?

You're welcome to share only what feels comfortable for you. The process doesn't require you to share every personal detail in front of the group.

Can this be done online, or does it have to be in-person?

Both are available. Online sessions and workshops are held via Zoom, giving you the opportunity to explore your situation from wherever you are.

Is this therapy?

No. Family Constellations isn't a replacement for therapy or medical/mental health treatment. It can be done alongside other support you're already receiving.

Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?

There's no need to prepare a detailed family history — come with whatever feels relevant, and Maisha can help you find a place to begin. For in-person workshops, wear comfortable clothes and socks (there's floor seating and exercises), and bring a notebook and pen.

Can I do this more than once?

Yes. Some people come back for a different pattern, or to go deeper into something that came up before.

Do I need to bring my whole family?

No. You don't need any family members to participate. In a 1:1 session it's just you and Maisha; in a workshop, other participants may stand in as representatives.

Can I participate in a workshop without having my own constellation?

Yes. You can join as a representative — standing in for someone in another participant's constellation — or simply as an observer, witnessing the process without taking an active role.

What if I get emotional during a session?

That's a normal part of this kind of work. You're always in control — you can pause or step back at any point. Nothing is forced.

How many sessions will I need?

There's no set number — it depends on you and what you're exploring. Some people find clarity in one session; others return to look at a different pattern over time.

Is everything confidential?

For 1:1 sessions, what you share stays between you and Maisha. [Confirm: your specific confidentiality policy for group workshops — e.g. what participants agree to about not sharing what they witness outside the room.]
